Supplement Facts: Glucosamine is a naturally occurring amino sugar synthesized by the body from L-Glutamine and glucose. Glucosamine stimulates the manufacture of Gylcosamino-Glycans and glycoproteins, important components of cartilage and contribute to healthy joints. Gylcosamino-Glycans and glycoproteins assist cartiledge cells and tissues in their ability to hold together while retaining flexibility. They are necessary for the construction and maintenance of virtually all connective tissue and lubricating fluids in the human body. As people age, the body's ability to naturally produce sufficient amounts of glucosamine seems to diminish and supplemental glucosamine may contribute to maintaining healthy cartilage and connective tissues. Serious athletes, body builders, runners, bikers, swimmers and other endurance athletes may also benefit from supplemental glucosamine.
Recommended Dosage: Take 1-2 scoops (2 grams) daily mixed with water or other liquids ideally with food or a meal or as directed by your healthcare provider.
